Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], July 17 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed an SIT investigation into the case of illegal occupation by some persons in the Upper Kosi Reserved Forest Area under Terai Western Forest Division Ramnagar Forest Division, and occupation of government land by buying and selling land on stamp papers.
In this regard, a preliminary investigation was conducted by the District Magistrate Nainital from SDM Ramnagar.
On the basis of the report given by the SDM, the District Magistrate, Nainital, provided a report to the government. In the sequence of this report, in view of the suspicion of illegal occupation of forest land, revenue land, buying and selling of government land through stamp papers and involvement of other crimes, including economic crimes in the case,
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has given instructions regarding getting the case investigated by the Special Investigation Team (SIT). (ANI)
