New Delhi [India], July 25 (ANI): BJP’s Shaina NC expressed her gratitude to the Central Government on Thursday for allocating a total of Rs. 1087 crore to the Mumbai Metro and Rs. 683 crore to the Nagpur Metro to enhance the infrastructure facilities in the state.
Speaking to ANI, Shaina said, “Maharashtra has received a lot in the Union budget. The state has received Rs. 908 crores MUTP-3, which will help the local railway network in Mumbai expand. Additionally, the Mumbai metro will get Rs. 1087 crores and the Mumbai-Delhi corridor will get Rs. 500 crores. MMR green urban transport will get Rs. 150 crores, Nagpur Metro will get Rs 683 crores, and Pune Metro will get Rs 814 crores. “
Further, she said, “There are a lot of infrastructure schemes that will benefit Maharashtra. Those who are spreading falsehood should read the budget properly first. Once they read it, they will know what allocations have been made.”
Talking about the protests by the opposition against the Budget, she said, “The work of the opposition is to create disruptions everywhere. This is a very holistic budget and something has been allocated for every state’s infrastructure.”
Expressing her gratitude towards Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, she said, “We are very glad that the Finance Minister allocated good funds to Maharashtra.”
Earlier, on Tuesday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed his gratitude to the Central Government for allocating Rs 14,738 crores to enhance rail facilities in the state, according to an official release.
CM Yadav also acknowledged the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for their dedication to the state’s interests.
“In Madhya Pradesh, the development of 80 railway stations is currently underway, funded by a sanctioned amount of Rs 81,000 crores. Additionally, the recent budget includes a provision of 14,738 crores specifically for the enhancement of rail facilities in the state. This substantial investment will benefit the citizens by providing new rail amenities and improved railway stations,” stated the official release.” (ANI)
