New Delhi [India], June 22 (ANI):Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the ‘Fast Track Immigration Trusted Traveller Programme’ at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport here in the national capital later on Friday to revolutionize travel experience, making it faster, easier, and more secure.
Shah will inaugurate the Fast Track Immigration – Trusted Traveller Programme (FTI-TTP) programme soon after his arrival from Gujarat, where he stayed on Friday and e-inaugurated 30 smart schools.
The FTI-TTP is a visionary initiative by the Central government thoughtfully designed for Indian nationals and Overseas Citizens of india (OCI) cardholders. FTI-TTP aims to revolutionise your travel experience, making it faster, easier, and more secure.
This initiative showcases the government’s commitment to enhancing travel convenience and efficiency for everyone.
Eligible individuals will need to apply online and submit their biometrics (fingerprint and facial image) along with other required information as specified in the application form. Registration under FTI will be completed after the necessary verifications and confirmation of eligibility. Applicable FTI-TTP processing charges must be paid when submitting the application.
The application shall be submitted only after the non-refundable processing fee has been successfully paid. Applicants will be registered after their identity has been successfully authenticated through mobile OTP and email verification.
Incorrect or false information or concealing any material facts in the application form shall make the application liable for rejection. Those applicants will not be registered for FTI-TTP whose biometrics, for any technical reason, cannot be captured.
The FTI registration will be valid for a maximum of five years or until the validity of the passport, whichever comes first.
Approved applications would receive a message to schedule an appointment to provide their biometric details.
The applicant may provide their biometrics at a designated international airport in India or the nearest FRRO office as per the prior appointment schedule.
Biometrics is compulsory for the completion of the application processing. The applicant may ensure a minimum passport validity of at least six months while applying for FTI-TTP. Membership of programme will be co-terminus with passport validity.
Applicant needs to provide current residential address to avoid the rejection of application.
The FTI-TTP processing fee (non-refundable) to be charged is as follows: Indian Nationals Rs 2000, Indian Nationals (Minor) Rs 1000, and OCI cardholders $100.
Applicants need to upload one passport size photograph in JPEG format (size ranging from 10 KB to 1 MB) and passport first and last page containing passport holder’s information (size not exceeding 1 MB).
Besides, two scanned copy of documents like OCI card in case of Indian settled overseas in PDF format (size ranging from 10 KB to 1 MB) as applicable is needed. Present Proof of address in PDF format (size 3 ranging from 10 kB to 1 MB) is also needed. (ANI)
