Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], August 20 (ANI): Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Tuesday inspected and assessed the State Secretariat premises to install the Telangana Talli statue, after announcing earlier in the day that the statue will be installed on December 9.
Reddy paid floral tribute to late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi in Somajiguda, Hyderabad on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
He reiterated the installation of the Telangana Talli statue in the Secretariat. Reddy added, “The Secretariat, which is the epicentre of the state administration, is a suitable place for the installation of the Telangana Talli statue with pride and utmost respect”.
During the inspection, he discussed a few aspects, including the site for installing the statue, the required area and designs, besides plans with the officials, according to the press release.
“The Telangana Talli statue should reflect the Telangana’s culture,” Revanth Reddy instructed the officials. He ordered the officials to prepare detailed plans for the installation of the statue. (ANI)
