Una (Himachal Pradesh) [India], July 19 (ANI): A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) working committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of BJP State President Dr Rajiv Bindal in Himachal Pradesh’s Una on Friday.
Addressing the meeting, Bindal said, “The BJP is for public welfare and the Congress runs an anti-people government. The Congress government in Himachal Pradesh has only worked to increase inflation, close institutions, stop public welfare schemes, and destroy the schemes of the previous government. This government is one of lockout, inflation, corruption, anti-people, and friends.”
He said that the Sukhu government of Congress is neck-deep in corruption. Under the protection of the Chief Minister, the state government has set records of corruption, and corruption is not stopping here, he alleged. Every day, new cases are coming to the fore in the state. Tenders are given at higher prices. Many scams related to land, energy, and GST are coming before the public.
He said that the law and order in Himachal Pradesh is going through its worst phase. Over seven cases of shooting, 250 murder cases, 3000 drug cases, and 950 cases of women atrocities have come before the public in a very short tenure. The drug business is going on under the protection of the government.
Bindal said that the Congress government is a government of friends, a liar, and the most useless government. The oxygen of the Congress party is nepotism and a big proof of this has been seen in Himachal Pradesh as well. Targeting the Congress, Bindal said, “The Congress has caused more damage to the country than the British. If anyone has done the work of selling the country, partition, emergency, and spreading casteism, then it is only the Congress party.”
Bindal said that the BJP workers have achieved the goal with self-power; it is the tireless hard work of the entire leadership and workers of the BJP, due to which the BJP has won 8 elections in the Rajya Sabha, Lok Sabha, and Assembly.
He said, “In the BJP Working Committee, a resolution was taken by the BJP workers to run a public awareness campaign against drug addiction in society. The BJP is going to start a decisive war against drug addiction.”
All BJP MLAs, state officials, district presidents, divisional presidents, and front and cell president conveners were present in the meeting. Notably, National Vice President Saudan Singh, In-Charge Shrikant Sharma, Co-In-Charge Sanjay Tandon, MP Anurag Thakur, Suresh Kashyap, Rajiv Bhardwaj, Harsh Mahajan, Indu Goswami, Sikandar Kumar, General Secretary Siddharthan, Bihari Lal Sharma, Trilok Kapoor and Sikandar Kumar were present in the meeting.
