Shajapur (Madhya Pradesh) [India], August 16 (ANI): Two people died and four were seriously injured after three trucks collided with each other on a National Highway in Madhya Pradesh’s Shajapur district on Friday early morning, a police official said.
The accident occurred on NH-52 in the Karedi area of the district. A total of six persons were travelling in three different trucks, the police added.

“Three trucks, one carrying vegetables, one filled with scarp, and one empty truck collided with each other on National Highway here in the Karedi area in which two persons died and four others sustained severe injuries,” Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), T S Baghel told ANI.
Upon receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot and sent the injured to the district hospital.
Apart from this, JCB machines and cranes were called to clear the highway and further proceedings at the spot were going on, the officer added.
